2023 VA State Scholastic Preparation Tournament
The VA State Scholastic Preparation Tournament is the annual chess tournament hosted by Chantilly High School's Chess Club. It provides elementary, middle, and high school students with an enjoyable, yet enriching experience through the implementation of an ideal chess environment. It helps them prepare for the annual VA State Chess Championship

Saturday March 4, 2023 at Chantilly High School
Sections:
- K-3
- K-6
- K-12
Time Control: G/30 + 5 second delay
4 Rounds:
-Round 1 at 9AM
- No scheduled round timings, all games are back to back
- Rounds start when all games in section are finished
Time: 9AM - 2PM (approximately)
Prizes: Top 3 Individual in each section
VA States Championship
The VA States Championship is an annual chess tournament that comprises of nearly 300 students at the elementary, middle, high school, and college level.
